WonderMill Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

 Chocolate Chip cookies are one of my all time favorites. I am particularly partial to homemade ones. You can't get much more homemade than when you grind your own flour. The WonderMill Electric Mill makes grinding fresh flour at home super simple. The result is absolutely delicious freshness in your recipes.

  When I tell you the WonderMill is easy to use, I mean it. Look how easy it is. Here is Hubby pouring in the hard red wheat berries we bought at our local health food store. Before you say it is to expensive to purchase wheat berries realize I paid $3.37 for 3 1/2 pounds of organic wheat. As you can see it was already hulled so we just opened the container and pour it into the WonderMill.

  This is how beautiful the freshly milled flour comes out. Remember this is organic too No chemicals or bleach. Hubby says that are excellent soakers too.


Ok here is the recipe:

WonderMilled Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies
 5 cups WonderMilled hard red wheat berry flour
3 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup good olive oil
2 tsp real vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/1/2 cups granulated sugar
 4 free range brown eggs
2 Tbs vanilla almond milk
1 bag chocolate chip pieces
3/4 cup raw pecan pieces

Wisk together first three ingredients. Put oil, sugars, vanilla, almond milk and eggs into mixing bowl. Blend  well, add flour mixture, Blend, Add pecans and chocolate chips. Blend. Drop by small scoopfuls onto cookie sheet bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Let cool on pan one minute before transferring to cooling rack.
